Ellesmere resident, Jane Farncombe is raising funds for charity - NACC – The National Association of Colitis and Crohn’s Disease by walking the Shropshire way. She sets out on Wednesday 18th April supported by her husband David who acts as driver/manager.
In 2002 Jo, their youngest son was diagnosed as having Crohn’s disease during his first year at university. He had an operation which helped, but he has been struggling since Spring 2005. As yet little is understood about the causes and there is no known cure.
Jane and David have set a target of raising £1000 and have already been pledged half of that. If you would like to support this cause or just find out more you can visit their web site at www.justgiving.com/ShropshireWay
